Day by day
- Day 1 — Haridwar — Barkot / Kharsali via Mussoorie
The package begins from Haridwar or Dehradun. Guests are normally expected to have their own pre-tour accommodation in Haridwar, although an additional stay can be arranged separately on request. In the morning, meet the driver at the designated pickup point and proceed towards Barkot or Kharsali. Guests may take an early holy dip in the Ganga before departure. The usual route passes through Mussoorie with a short stop at Kempty Falls. During heavy traffic, the vehicle may be diverted via Vikas Nagar, in which case Kempty Falls may be omitted. On arrival, check in, have dinner and rest.
Overnight: Barkot / Kharsali
- Day 2 — Barkot / Kharsali — Yamunotri — Barkot / Kharsali
Depart early for Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti and Phool Chatti. From Janki Chatti, begin the approximately 5 km trek to Yamunotri Dham. On arrival, take a holy dip in the thermal waters of the sacred kund, worship Divya Shila and have darshan at the Yamunotri Temple. After pooja and darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti, meet the driver and return to Barkot or Kharsali for dinner and overnight stay. Pony, palanquin, porter and pithu services are available locally at additional cost.
Overnight: Barkot / Kharsali
- Day 3 — Barkot / Kharsali — Uttarkashi / Harsil
After breakfast, proceed towards Uttarkashi or Harsil. The comparatively shorter drive is planned to provide rest after the Yamunotri trek. Visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi before hotel check-in, subject to time. Check in at the confirmed hotel and spend the remaining day at leisure.
Overnight: Uttarkashi / Harsil
- Day 4 — Uttarkashi / Harsil — Gangotri — Uttarkashi
Leave early after tea or coffee, generally with packed breakfast, for Gangotri Dham. Offer prayers and perform darshan at the Gangotri Temple. Guests may take a sacred bath at Gangotri Ghat, perform Ganga pujan and aarti, and visit Bhagirath Shila, Gauri Ganesha Temple and Surya Kund. Depending on time and road conditions, visit Harsil, Mukhba and Gangnani while returning. Return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Uttarkashi
- Day 5 — Uttarkashi — Guptkashi / Phata / Sitapur
Depart early, usually with packed breakfast, for the longest road sector of the Char Dham journey. Drive through the Garhwal Himalayas towards Guptkashi, Phata or Sitapur, passing river valleys and the Tehri region. Travel time may exceed the estimate because of traffic congestion, weather or road conditions. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest.
Overnight: Guptkashi / Phata / Sitapur
- Day 6 — Guptkashi / Phata / Sitapur — Sonprayag — Gaurikund — Kedarnath
Proceed early to Sonprayag and continue by locally operated transport to Gaurikund. Begin the trek to Kedarnath Dham. Pilgrims may trek on foot or independently arrange pony, pithu, palanquin or helicopter services at additional cost and subject to availability. After reaching Kedarnath, have darshan of Shri Kedarnath Ji, visit Bhim Shila and experience the sacred Himalayan surroundings. Overnight accommodation at Kedarnath is basic and generally arranged in a dormitory. Weather, aviation operations, health conditions and local administration may alter the day's schedule.
Overnight: Kedarnath
- Day 7 — Kedarnath — Gaurikund — Sonprayag — Guptkashi / Sitapur
After morning darshan, trek down from Kedarnath to Gaurikund and continue to Sonprayag. Meet the vehicle and transfer to Guptkashi or Sitapur. This night provides an operational buffer in case the Kedarnath movement is delayed by weather, trekking conditions, helicopter operations or medical reasons. Subject to timely arrival, Triyuginarayan Temple may be visited as an optional and chargeable excursion. An alternative stay in Chopta or Ukhimath may be considered only when operationally practical.
Overnight: Guptkashi / Sitapur
- Day 8 — Guptkashi / Sitapur — Chopta — Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Badrinath
After breakfast, proceed towards Pipalkoti, Govindghat or Badrinath through Ukhimath, Chopta, Pipalkoti and Joshimath. The itinerary generally prefers an overnight stay at Pipalkoti or Govindghat to avoid late-evening movement on the mountain road to Badrinath and to ensure a more relaxed pilgrimage. A stay in Badrinath may be arranged depending on the selected package, weather, road conditions and guest preference.
Overnight: Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Badrinath
- Day 9 — Badrinath Full-Day Darshan & Sightseeing
Proceed for a full-day visit to Badrinath Dham. Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and have darshan of Badri Vishal. Subject to time, weather and local permissions, visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Saraswati Udgam, Keshav Prayag, Brahma Kapal, Sheshnetra, Charan Paduka, Ekadashi Gufa and Hanuman Gufa. View Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag and Karnaprayag while returning where possible. The full-day visit allows sufficient time for darshan, acclimatization and spiritual exploration. Return to Govindghat, Pipalkoti or Rudraprayag for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Govindghat / Pipalkoti / Rudraprayag
- Day 10 — Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Rudraprayag — Rishikesh / Haridwar Departure
After breakfast, proceed towards Rishikesh and Haridwar. En route, view important Panch Prayag confluences such as Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag depending on the starting location and route. On arrival in Rishikesh, guests may independently explore Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, local ghats, temples and ashrams, subject to available time. Evening aarti at Parmarth Niketan or Har Ki Pauri may be attended if the departure schedule permits. Transfer to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for the onward journey.
