Privacy policy

What we hold, why we hold it, and what we will not do with it. Last updated 25 August 2026.

The short version. We hold what is needed to run your account and your quotations. We do not sell it, we do not advertise against it, and we do not use your travellers' details for anything except producing the documents you asked for.

1. Who we are

travee+ is quotation software for tour operators. When you register, you are the customer; the travellers you quote for are your customers, not ours. For their personal data we act as a processor on your instructions — you decide what goes into a quotation, and we store and render it.

2. What we collect from you

  • Account details — name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, and the region your desk belongs to.
  • Authentication data — a hashed password (never the password itself) and, if you use WhatsApp sign-in, the one-time code and the time it was sent.
  • Your business content — packages, itineraries, hotel and vehicle rates, terms, branding, quotations, leads and payment records that you create in the product.
  • Support correspondence — the tickets and replies you exchange with us.
  • Technical logs — request times, error traces and IP addresses, kept to keep the service up and to investigate abuse.

3. Your travellers' data

A quotation usually contains a guest's name, contact number, travel dates and party composition. We hold that only so the document can be produced, stored and re-opened by you. We do not market to your travellers, and we do not use their details to build a profile of anyone.

Your quotations, rates and cost models are visible to you and to the administrator of your region. Supplier cost and margin are never included in what a traveller receives.

4. Why we hold it

  • To provide the service you signed up for — the legal basis is performance of a contract.
  • To keep accounts secure and to investigate misuse — our legitimate interest.
  • To bill a subscription and keep the record of it — a legal obligation once money changes hands.

5. Who else sees it

Only the people who need to:

  • The regional administrator for your desk, for the accounts and catalogue on that desk.
  • Our support staff, when you open a ticket, and only for tickets on your desk.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the database and files, and the messaging provider that delivers WhatsApp one-time codes.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We will disclose data if a valid legal order requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden from doing so.

6. How it is protected

  • Traffic is served over HTTPS.
  • Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody at travee+ can read yours.
  • Sessions use HttpOnly cookies and are regenerated at sign-in.
  • One-time codes are rate limited per number, so a code cannot be requested or guessed repeatedly.
  • Access follows the role you hold: an agent reaches their own data, a regional admin their own desk, and support only the ticket queue.

7. How long we keep it

Business content stays for as long as your account is open, because a quotation from two years ago is often exactly what you need to re-quote. Close your account and we delete the content within 60 days, keeping only what tax or accounting law requires us to keep. Support tickets are kept for two years. Technical logs are kept for 90 days.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Most of it you can do yourself from Account & security inside the app. For the rest, open a support ticket or write to us and we will answer within 30 days.

If the request concerns one of your travellers, send it to us and we will act on your instruction, since that data is yours to control.

9. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and one to remember your cookie choice. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. Blocking the session cookie will stop you being able to sign in.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request about your data: open a ticket from the support desk, or write to the regional desk that set up your account. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to your local data protection authority.

We will post any material change to this policy here and note the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
