Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Candidasa

   Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Candidasa. A quiet east-coast village of lotus lagoons, the old Bali Aga country behind it and the Padang Bai jetty next door. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Candidasa.

2. Day 2 — Candidasa: Tirta Gangga water palace

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Candidasa — the Tirta Gangga water palace; the Taman Ujung water palace and the Bali Aga village of Tenganan; and the Lempuyang temple and its gate of heaven. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Candidasa.

3. Day 3 — Candidasa: White-sand beach at Virgin Beach and the Padang Bai coves

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Candidasa — the white-sand beach at Virgin Beach and the Padang Bai coves; the Tirta Gangga water palace; and the Taman Ujung water palace and the Bali Aga village of Tenganan. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Candidasa.

4. Day 4 — Candidasa — departure

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Indonesia.

• A separate accompanying guide; the driver is not a licensed guide.
• Indonesia visa on arrival, the Bali tourist levy and travel insurance.
• Optional tours and activities not named in the programme — diving courses, water sports, spa and cooking classes.
• Meals other than those stated, room service, alcoholic and bottled beverages, laundry and personal expenses.
• Compulsory Gala Dinner supplements over Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Nyepi period surcharges.
• Nyepi, the Balinese day of silence, closes the island and the airport for 24 hours; nothing operates that day.
• Early check-in or late check-out unless confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
• Anything arising from circumstances outside our control — flight or fast-boat cancellation, swell, volcanic activity or a change of government levy.
