Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuala Lumpur

   Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2). Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian capital, where the Petronas Twin Towers stand over colonial shophouses, temple lanes and some of the best shopping in Asia. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

2. Day 2 — Kuala Lumpur: Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuala Lumpur — the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show; Batu Caves and its 272 painted steps to the Murugan shrine; and Merdeka Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Masjid Jamek. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

3. Day 3 — Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Taman Negara — a 240 km, three-and-a-half-hour drive to Kuala Tahan. A rainforest 130 million years old, entered by longboat at Kuala Tahan, with the longest canopy walkway in the world strung through it. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the canopy walkway high in the primary rainforest. Overnight in Taman Negara.

4. Day 4 — Taman Negara: Lata Berkoh rapids by longboat

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Taman Negara — the Lata Berkoh rapids by longboat, an Orang Asli settlement visit with a blowpipe demonstration and a night jungle walk with a park naturalist. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Taman Negara.

5. Day 5 — Taman Negara — departure

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2) for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.
