Day by day
- Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. The valley capital, where seven UNESCO monument zones stand within an hour of each other and the old city has not stopped being a working one. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kathmandu.

- Day 2 — Kathmandu to Bandipur
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Bandipur — a 145 km, four-hour drive to the ridge town. A preserved Newar trading town on a ridge above the Marsyangdi, with no traffic on its main street. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Bandipur bazaar street and the Bindhyabasini temple. Overnight in Bandipur.

- Day 3 — Bandipur: Siddha Gufa, one of the largest caves in Nepal
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Bandipur — the Siddha Gufa, one of the largest caves in Nepal; the Tundikhel viewpoint over the Himalaya; and the Bandipur bazaar street and the Bindhyabasini temple. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Bandipur.

- Day 4 — Bandipur to Gorkha
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Gorkha — a 50 km, ninety-minute drive. The hill seat the Shah kings unified Nepal from, its durbar standing on a ridge above the town. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Gorkha Durbar and the Gorakhnath cave shrine. Overnight in Gorkha.

- Day 5 — Gorkha to Pokhara
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Pokhara — a 105 km, three-hour drive. A lake town under the Annapurnas, where Machhapuchhre stands 7,000 m above a boat on Phewa Tal. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, a boat on Phewa lake to the Tal Barahi temple. Overnight in Pokhara.

- Day 6 — Pokhara: Sarangkot sunrise over Annapurna and Machhapuchhre
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Pokhara — the Sarangkot sunrise over Annapurna and Machhapuchhre; the World Peace Pagoda above the lake; and the Davis Falls, Gupteshwor cave and the Bindhyabasini temple. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Pokhara.

- Day 7 — Pokhara — departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Pokhara International Airport for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Nepal.

Exclusions
- International airfare to and from Kathmandu, and airport taxes on it.
- Monument, national park and conservation area entrance fees, TIMS cards and trekking permits — quoted on request or paid direct.
- On a trekking package: the licensed trekking guide and porters, their wages, insurance and equipment. These are quoted separately, because they are priced per walking day and not per night.
- A separate accompanying city guide; the driver is not a licensed guide.
- Nepal visa fee on arrival and travel insurance, which must cover helicopter evacuation on any trekking package.
- Optional activities not named in the programme — the Everest scenic flight, paragliding, ultralight, bungee, rafting, jungle safaris and elephant-back rides.
- Meals other than those stated, hot showers and device charging on trek, bottled and alcoholic drinks, laundry and personal expenses.
- Tips for guides, porters and drivers.
- Extra nights, transport and meals caused by a delayed or cancelled mountain flight, which is a weather decision and not a schedule one.
- Anything arising from circumstances outside our control — landslide, strike, weather, or a change of permit rules.
