Day by day
- Day 1 — Arrival at Paro International Airport — Paro Dzong, National Museum & Town
Arrive at Paro International Airport and complete immigration, baggage collection and entry formalities. Meet the local representative and transfer to the hotel in Paro. After check-in and a short rest, begin sightseeing according to the flight arrival time. Visit Rinpung Dzong, also known as Paro Dzong, an important fortress-monastery overlooking the valley. Continue to the National Museum of Bhutan, where exhibitions introduce Bhutanese art, religion, textiles, natural history and cultural traditions. Later, explore Paro Town at a relaxed pace. Walk through the market streets, browse handicraft shops, observe traditional architecture or spend time at a local café. The programme may be shortened if the flight arrives late. - Day 2 — Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike — Kyichu Lhakhang / Paro River
After an early breakfast, drive to the trailhead of Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger's Nest. Begin the uphill hike through pine forest, prayer flags and mountain viewpoints. The trail is moderate to strenuous depending on fitness and weather. A cafeteria viewpoint provides a common rest point before the final approach. Continue through the stair sections to the monastery complex and follow the dress code, security procedures and photography rules. Spend time exploring the permitted temples and learning about the site's association with Guru Padmasambhava. After the visit, descend to the vehicle point. Horse service may be available for part of the uphill journey at direct cost, but the final approach requires walking. Depending on time and energy, visit Kyichu Lhakhang or enjoy a gentle walk beside the Paro River. Overnight stay in Paro.

- Day 3 — Paro — Thimphu City Tour
After breakfast, check out from the Paro hotel and drive to Thimphu through the Paro and Wang Chhu river valleys. Visit Buddha Dordenma, the large seated Buddha overlooking the city. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, an important place of daily prayer for local residents. Later, visit Tashichho Dzong, subject to official functions, opening hours and security rules. In the evening, explore Clock Tower Square and the surrounding city centre, shops and cafés. Check in at the hotel and stay overnight in Thimphu.

- Day 4 — Thimphu — Paro International Airport Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive from Thimphu to Paro International Airport. Departure should be planned according to the flight schedule and airline reporting requirement. Arrive with sufficient time for check-in, baggage screening, immigration and security procedures. The Bhutan tour concludes at Paro International Airport.
