Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Malacca

   Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2). Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Malacca. The old port of the Melaka Sultanate — a Dutch red square, Portuguese ruins and the antique shops of Jonker Street. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Malacca.

2. Day 2 — Malacca to Kuala Lumpur

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Kuala Lumpur — a 150 km, two-hour run down the North-South Expressway. The Malaysian capital, where the Petronas Twin Towers stand over colonial shophouses, temple lanes and some of the best shopping in Asia. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

3. Day 3 — Kuala Lumpur: Batu Caves and its 272 painted steps to the Murugan shrine

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuala Lumpur — Batu Caves and its 272 painted steps to the Murugan shrine; Merdeka Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Masjid Jamek; and the KL Tower observation deck and Sky Box. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

4. Day 4 — Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Genting Highlands — a 55 km, one-hour climb into the Titiwangsa range. A resort city at 1,800 metres in the Titiwangsa range, reached by cable car and cool enough to need a jacket in the evening. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Awana SkyWay cable car and the Chin Swee Caves Temple. Overnight in Genting Highlands.

5. Day 5 — Genting Highlands: Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Genting Highlands — Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Genting SkyWorlds outdoor theme park and Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Genting Highlands.

6. Day 6 — Genting Highlands — departure

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2) for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.
