- Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kota Kinabalu
Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. The west-coast capital of Sabah under Mount Kinabalu, with reef islands twenty minutes offshore and a sunset market on the waterfront. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu.

- Day 2 — Kota Kinabalu: Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park islands of Manukan, Sapi and Mamutik
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kota Kinabalu — the Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park islands of Manukan, Sapi and Mamutik; the Mari Mari Cultural Village; and the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque and Signal Hill observatory. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu.

- Day 3 — Kota Kinabalu: Filipino night market and a Tanjung Aru sunset
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kota Kinabalu — the Filipino night market and a Tanjung Aru sunset; a Klias river cruise for proboscis monkeys and fireflies; and the Sabah State Museum and the Atkinson Clock Tower. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu.

- Day 4 — Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Sandakan — a 45-minute flight. The wildlife coast of Borneo — orangutans, sun bears, proboscis monkeys and the slow brown Kinabatangan. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre feeding. Overnight in Sandakan.

- Day 5 — Sandakan: Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Sandakan — the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, the Rainforest Discovery Centre canopy walk and a Kinabatangan river wildlife cruise. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Sandakan.

- Day 6 — Sandakan — departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Sandakan Airport for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.
