Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kota Kinabalu

   Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. The west-coast capital of Sabah under Mount Kinabalu, with reef islands twenty minutes offshore and a sunset market on the waterfront. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu.

2. Day 2 — Kota Kinabalu to Semporna

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Semporna — a 50-minute flight to Tawau and a ninety-minute drive. The jump-off for Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai, where Bajau Laut stilt villages stand over impossibly clear water. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, an island-hopping day to Mabul and Kapalai. Overnight in Semporna.

3. Day 3 — Semporna: Snorkelling at Bohey Dulang and Sibuan in the Tun Sakaran marine park

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Semporna — snorkelling at Bohey Dulang and Sibuan in the Tun Sakaran marine park; the Bajau Laut stilt villages and a sunset over the reef; and an island-hopping day to Mabul and Kapalai. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Semporna.

4. Day 4 — Semporna: Snorkelling at Bohey Dulang and Sibuan in the Tun Sakaran marine park

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Semporna — snorkelling at Bohey Dulang and Sibuan in the Tun Sakaran marine park; the Bajau Laut stilt villages and a sunset over the reef; and an island-hopping day to Mabul and Kapalai. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Semporna.

6. Day 6 — Semporna — departure

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Tawau Airport for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.
