Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuala Terengganu

   Arrive at Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuala Terengganu. The Terengganu river capital, a Chinatown and a crystal mosque, and the jump-off for Redang and the Perhentians. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuala Terengganu.

2. Day 2 — Kuala Terengganu to Perhentian Islands

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Perhentian Islands — a ninety-minute drive to Kuala Besut and a forty-minute speedboat. Two small islands off the Terengganu coast with coral in swimming distance of the sand — open only outside the north-east monsoon. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, snorkelling at Shark Point and Turtle Bay. Overnight in Perhentian Islands.

3. Day 3 — Perhentian Islands: Romantic Beach and the Coral Bay sunset

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Perhentian Islands — the Romantic Beach and the Coral Bay sunset; a boat circuit of Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil; and snorkelling at Shark Point and Turtle Bay. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Perhentian Islands.

4. Day 4 — Perhentian Islands: Romantic Beach and the Coral Bay sunset

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Perhentian Islands — the Romantic Beach and the Coral Bay sunset; a boat circuit of Perhentian Besar and Perhentian Kecil; and snorkelling at Shark Point and Turtle Bay. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Perhentian Islands.

5. Day 5 — Perhentian Islands to Redang Island

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Redang Island — a ninety-minute boat transfer between the islands. A marine-park island of powder sand and reef drop-offs, an hour by speedboat off Merang. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Redang Marine Park snorkelling sites. Overnight in Redang Island.

6. Day 6 — Redang Island: Long sweep of Pasir Panjang beach

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Redang Island — the long sweep of Pasir Panjang beach, the turtle sanctuary at Chagar Hutang and the Redang Marine Park snorkelling sites. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Redang Island.

   Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Redang Island — the long sweep of Pasir Panjang beach, the turtle sanctuary at Chagar Hutang and the Redang Marine Park snorkelling sites. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Redang Island.

8. Day 8 — Redang Island — departure

   Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.
