Day by day

1. Day 1 — Arrival at Gateway - Transfer to Bhubaneswar

   Arrive at airport / railway station (Bhubaneswar/Kolkata). Meet our tour representative and commence your journey to Bhubaneswar. Check in at hotel/eco-camp/resort. Temple City of India: Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Rajarani Temple, Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain Caves, and Dhaulagiri Shanti Stupa. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

2. Day 2 — Full Day Sightseeing & Exploration in Bhubaneswar

   Arrive in Bhubaneswar and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Breakfast at hotel. Thereafter proceed on a full day excursion exploring the top scenic, cultural and wildlife landmarks of the Temple City of India. Visit the Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswar Temple and Rajarani Temple, followed by the Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain Caves and the Dhaulagiri Shanti Stupa overlooking the Daya river. Evening stroll through the local markets. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

3. Day 3 — Bhubaneswar to Puri Scenic Transfer & En Route Sights

   Post breakfast, check out and drive towards Puri through picturesque highways, delta rivers, and rural landscapes. Arrive in Puri and check in at hotel/camp. Sacred coastal Char Dham pilgrimage city: Sri Jagannath Temple, golden sea beach, and vibrant Pattachitra art markets. Overnight stay in Puri.

4. Day 4 — Full Day Sightseeing & Exploration in Puri

   Arrive in Puri and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Breakfast at hotel. Thereafter proceed on a full day excursion exploring the top scenic, cultural and wildlife landmarks of this sacred coastal Char Dham pilgrimage city. Visit the Sri Jagannath Temple, spend time on the golden sea beach and browse the vibrant Pattachitra art markets of the town. Evening stroll through the local markets along Grand Road. Overnight stay in Puri.

5. Day 5 — Puri to Bhitarkanika Scenic Transfer & En Route Sights

   Post breakfast, check out and drive towards Bhitarkanika through picturesque highways, delta rivers, and rural landscapes. Arrive in Bhitarkanika and check in at hotel/camp. Subtropical mangrove wetland sanctuary: Boat safari through creeks to spot saltwater crocodiles, water monitor lizards, and diverse bird species. Overnight stay in Bhitarkanika.

6. Day 6 — Full Day Sightseeing & Exploration in Bhitarkanika

   Arrive in Bhitarkanika and check in at your lodge or camp. After breakfast, spend a full day exploring this subtropical mangrove wetland sanctuary. A boat safari takes you through the creeks to spot saltwater crocodiles basking on the banks, water monitor lizards and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds. In the evening take a stroll through the local village markets. Overnight stay in Bhitarkanika.

7. Day 7 — Bhitarkanika to Bhubaneswar - Onward Departure

   After breakfast and a last look at the creeks and mangroves around Bhitarkanika, check out from the hotel. Complete any final souvenir shopping, with Pattachitra paintings, Dokra metal crafts or Darjeeling tea among the usual choices. You then proceed on your return transfer to Bhubaneswar, driving through the paddy fields and river crossings of coastal Odisha, and are dropped at the airport or railway station in good time for your onward journey home.
