  1. Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuching

    Arrive at Kuching International Airport. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuching. The cat city on the Sarawak river — Chinatown shophouses, longhouse culture and semi-wild orangutans within an hour. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuching.

  2. Day 2 — Kuching: Semenggoh Wildlife Centre orangutan feeding

    Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuching — the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre orangutan feeding; the Sarawak Cultural Village at Damai; and the Kuching waterfront, the Astana and Fort Margherita. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuching.

  4. Day 4 — Kuching to Miri

    Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Miri — a 55-minute flight. The oil town of northern Sarawak and the gateway to Mulu and the Niah archaeological caves. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Grand Old Lady oil derrick on Canada Hill and the Petroleum Museum. Overnight in Miri.

  5. Day 5 — Miri to Mulu

    Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Mulu — a 30-minute flight over the karst. A UNESCO karst wilderness holding the largest cave chamber on earth, and a bat exodus that darkens the sky at dusk. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Deer and Lang caves and the evening bat exodus. Overnight in Mulu.
