- Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuala Lumpur
Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2). Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian capital, where the Petronas Twin Towers stand over colonial shophouses, temple lanes and some of the best shopping in Asia. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

- Day 2 — Kuala Lumpur: Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuala Lumpur — the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show; Batu Caves and its 272 painted steps to the Murugan shrine; and Merdeka Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Masjid Jamek. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

- Day 3 — Kuala Lumpur to Sunway
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Sunway — a 25 km, forty-minute drive. The resort suburb of Kuala Lumpur, built around the six parks of Sunway Lagoon and the pyramid-shaped mall beside it. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the water, amusement and wildlife parks of Sunway Lagoon. Overnight in Sunway.

- Day 4 — Sunway: Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon zone and the Vuvuzela ride
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Sunway — the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon zone and the Vuvuzela ride; Sunway Pyramid mall and its ice rink; and the water, amusement and wildlife parks of Sunway Lagoon. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Sunway.

- Day 5 — Sunway to Genting Highlands
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Genting Highlands — a 70 km, ninety-minute drive into the range. A resort city at 1,800 metres in the Titiwangsa range, reached by cable car and cool enough to need a jacket in the evening. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Awana SkyWay cable car and the Chin Swee Caves Temple. Overnight in Genting Highlands.

- Day 6 — Genting Highlands to Johor Bahru
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Johor Bahru — the descent to Kuala Lumpur and a 60-minute flight south. The southern gateway city across the strait from Singapore, and the home of LEGOLAND Malaysia. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, LEGOLAND Malaysia and its water park. Overnight in Johor Bahru.

- Day 7 — Johor Bahru: Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque and the Johor Zoo
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Johor Bahru — the Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque and the Johor Zoo; the Johor Premium Outlets; and Danga Bay and the Arulmigu Rajakaliamman glass temple. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Johor Bahru.

- Day 8 — Johor Bahru — departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Senai International Airport, Johor Bahru for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Malaysia.

- A separate accompanying guide; the driver is not a licensed guide.
- Malaysia eVISA / Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) fees and travel insurance.
- Optional tours and activities not named in the programme — water sports, spa, diving courses and Sipadan permits.
- Meals other than those stated, room service, alcoholic and bottled beverages, laundry and personal expenses.
