Day by day

  1. Day 1 — Haridwar — Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Badrinath

Depart early from Haridwar for an almost full-day drive towards Pipalkoti, Govindghat or Badrinath via the Garhwal Himalayan route. The journey passes important river confluences and mountain towns, including Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandprayag, Joshimath and Govindghat, depending on road conditions and available time. Travel may take more than 10 hours during traffic congestion, road work or adverse weather. The itinerary normally prefers a stay at Pipalkoti or Govindghat to avoid late-evening movement on the Govindghat–Badrinath road and to provide gradual acclimatization. A stay in Badrinath may be arranged depending on the selected package, road conditions and guest preference.

Overnight: Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Badrinath

  2. Day 2 — Badrinath Full-Day Darshan & Sightseeing

Proceed early for a full-day visit to Badrinath Dham. Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and have darshan of Badri Vishal. Subject to available time, weather and local permissions, visit Nag Nagin Pith, Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Keshav Prayag, Saraswati Udgam, Brahma Kapal, Sheshnetra, Charan Paduka, Ekadashi Gufa and Hanuman Gufa. The full-day program provides sufficient time for darshan, acclimatization and exploration of the sacred surroundings. View Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag and Karnaprayag where possible while returning. Continue to the confirmed hotel at Govindghat, Pipalkoti or Rudraprayag for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Govindghat / Pipalkoti / Rudraprayag

  3. Day 3 — Pipalkoti / Govindghat / Rudraprayag — Rishikesh / Haridwar Departure

After breakfast, proceed towards Rishikesh and Haridwar. En route, view important Panch Prayag confluences such as Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag depending on the starting location and route. On arrival in Rishikesh, guests may independently explore Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, local ghats, temples and ashrams, subject to available time. Evening aarti at Parmarth Niketan or Har Ki Pauri may be attended if the onward departure schedule permits. Transfer to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for the onward journey.
