- Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuta
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuta. The original Bali beach town, ten minutes from the airport — a long surf beach, a night-market of a main street and everything open late. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuta.

- Day 2 — Kuta: Kuta beach at sunset and a first surf lesson
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuta — Kuta beach at sunset and a first surf lesson; the Tanah Lot sea temple for the evening ceremony; and Waterbom Bali and the Beachwalk shopping promenade. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuta.

- Day 3 — Kuta to Ubud
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Ubud — a 40 km, ninety-minute drive inland. The cultural heart of Bali in the foothills — rice terraces, a palace, a monkey forest and a gallery or a gamelan on every lane. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Tegallalang rice terraces and a swing over the valley. Overnight in Ubud.

A quiet east-coast village of lotus lagoons, the old Bali Aga country behind it and the Padang Bai jetty next door. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Tirta Gangga water palace. Overnight in Candidasa.

- Day 7 — Candidasa: Taman Ujung water palace and the Bali Aga village of Tenganan
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Candidasa — the Taman Ujung water palace and the Bali Aga village of Tenganan; the Lempuyang temple and its gate of heaven; and the white-sand beach at Virgin Beach and the Padang Bai coves. - Day 8 — Candidasa to Lovina
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Lovina — a three-hour drive across the north-east. The black-sand north coast, where the boats go out before dawn to find dolphins. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the dawn dolphin boat off Lovina. Overnight in Lovina.

- Day 9 — Lovina: Banjar hot springs and the Brahma Vihara Arama monastery
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Lovina — the Banjar hot springs and the Brahma Vihara Arama monastery; the Gitgit and Sekumpul waterfalls; and the dawn dolphin boat off Lovina. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Lovina.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Indonesia.
