- Day 1 — Arrival and transfer to Kuta
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar. Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuta. The original Bali beach town, ten minutes from the airport — a long surf beach, a night-market of a main street and everything open late. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Overnight in Kuta.

- Day 2 — Kuta: Kuta beach at sunset and a first surf lesson
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuta — Kuta beach at sunset and a first surf lesson; the Tanah Lot sea temple for the evening ceremony; and Waterbom Bali and the Beachwalk shopping promenade. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuta.

- Day 3 — Kuta: Uluwatu clifftop temple and the Kecak fire dance
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuta — the Uluwatu clifftop temple and the Kecak fire dance; a seafood dinner on the sand at Jimbaran bay; and the Bali Bomb Memorial and the Kuta art market. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuta.

- Day 4 — Kuta to Senggigi
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Senggigi — a thirty-minute flight to Lombok and a coastal drive. The main beach strip of Lombok, looking across at Bali, with Rinjani rising behind it. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Batu Bolong temple on its headland at sunset. Overnight in Senggigi.

- Day 5 — Senggigi: Sasak village of Sade and a hand-weaving demonstration
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Senggigi — the Sasak village of Sade and a hand-weaving demonstration; the Malimbu hill viewpoint over the Gili islands; and the Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel waterfalls. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Senggigi.

- Day 6 — Senggigi: Batu Bolong temple on its headland at sunset
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Senggigi — the Batu Bolong temple on its headland at sunset; the Sasak village of Sade and a hand-weaving demonstration; and the Malimbu hill viewpoint over the Gili islands. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Senggigi.

- Day 7 — Senggigi to Gili Trawangan
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Gili Trawangan — a coastal drive and a thirty-minute fast boat. The largest of the three Gilis — no cars, no motorbikes, a reef a few strokes offshore and a sunset side everyone walks to. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, snorkelling the Gili reef with green turtles. Overnight in Gili Trawangan.

- Day 8 — Gili Trawangan: Underwater statues at Nest Point
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Gili Trawangan — the underwater statues at Nest Point; a cycle circuit of the island and the sunset swings; and a boat hop to Gili Meno and Gili Air. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Gili Trawangan.

- Day 9 — Gili Trawangan: Snorkelling the Gili reef with green turtles
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Gili Trawangan — snorkelling the Gili reef with green turtles; the underwater statues at Nest Point; and a cycle circuit of the island and the sunset swings. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Gili Trawangan.

- Day 10 — Gili Trawangan — departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Time for any last shopping before your transfer to Lombok International Airport for the onward flight. The tour ends here, and we hope it is not your last visit to Indonesia.

Exclusions
- International airfare to and from Indonesia, and airport taxes on it.
- Entrance fees, temple donations, sarong hire and activity charges at the places the day programme names — temples, waterfalls, rice-terrace swings, cruises, marine parks and national parks. Quoted on request or paid direct at the gate.
- A separate accompanying guide; the driver is not a licensed guide.
- Indonesia visa on arrival, the Bali tourist levy and travel insurance.
- Optional tours and activities not named in the programme — diving courses, water sports, spa and cooking classes.
- Meals other than those stated, room service, alcoholic and bottled beverages, laundry and personal expenses.
- Compulsory Gala Dinner supplements over Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Nyepi period surcharges.
- Nyepi, the Balinese day of silence, closes the island and the airport for 24 hours; nothing operates that day.
- Early check-in or late check-out unless confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
- Anything arising from circumstances outside our control — flight or fast-boat cancellation, swell, volcanic activity or a change of government levy.
