Day by day

  1. Day 1 — Dehradun / Haridwar Arrival — Haridwar Temples & Ganga Aarti

Arrive at Dehradun Airport, Dehradun Railway Station, Haridwar Railway Station or another pre-confirmed pickup point. Meet the driver or tour representative and proceed to Haridwar, one of India's most important spiritual cities. On arrival, check in at the selected hotel and take time to freshen up and rest. Depending on the arrival schedule and temple operating hours, proceed towards the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temple areas. Both hilltop temples may be accessed by cable car, subject to operation, queues, weather and local regulations. Cable-car tickets are payable directly. Travellers may visit one or both temples according to available time and physical comfort. Later, proceed towards Har Ki Pauri for the evening Ganga Aarti. Arrive sufficiently early because the ghat becomes crowded, especially on weekends, festivals and pilgrimage dates. Witness priests offering lamps and prayers to the River Ganga while devotional chants fill the riverfront. Guests should keep valuables secure, follow police instructions and use only authorised access routes around the ghat. After the aarti, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. The sightseeing order may be adjusted if the arrival is late.

    Overnight: Haridwar

  2. Day 2 — Haridwar — Rishikesh Spiritual & Riverside Exploration

After breakfast, check out from the Haridwar hotel and drive to Rishikesh, widely known as the Yoga Capital of the World. On arrival, check in at the hotel or proceed directly for sightseeing according to room availability and traffic conditions. Explore the surroundings of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Vehicle movement is restricted in several riverfront areas, so walking or local transport may be required. Visit nearby ashrams, temples, cafés and riverside lanes according to available time. The exact access to bridges may change because of maintenance or local administration. Adventure-oriented guests may opt for river rafting on the Ganga at additional cost. Rafting is subject to age, health, water level, weather, seasonal permission and the operator's safety rules. It should be booked only through an authorised provider and may require changes to the sightseeing schedule. In the evening, proceed to Triveni Ghat for the peaceful Ganga Aarti. Spend time by the river and observe the spiritual ceremony before returning to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.

    Overnight: Rishikesh

  3. Day 3 — Rishikesh — Dehradun Valley — Mussoorie Lake — Mall Road

After breakfast, check out from the Rishikesh hotel and begin the drive towards Mussoorie, the celebrated Queen of Hills. The route passes through Dehradun and then climbs through winding roads towards the Mussoorie ridge. As the vehicle gains altitude, enjoy views of the Doon Valley, forested slopes and hillside settlements. Traffic may be slow during weekends, summer holidays, snowfall periods and long weekends. On arrival in Mussoorie, check in at the selected hotel and rest. Later, visit Mussoorie Lake, subject to operating hours and available time. Optional boating and activities are payable directly. Continue towards Mall Road or the nearest permitted parking point. Since many sections are pedestrianised or have vehicle restrictions, guests may need to walk from the drop point. Spend the evening exploring Mall Road, local shops, viewpoints and cafés. Enjoy shopping or a relaxed hill-station walk before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Overnight: Mussoorie

  4. Day 4 — Full-Day Mussoorie Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Mussoorie's popular natural and heritage attractions. Start with Kempty Falls, located outside the main town. Walk from the parking area towards the waterfall and spend time at the viewpoint. Water flow and visitor access vary by season, and the area may be crowded during peak travel dates. Continue to Company Garden, known for landscaped lawns, flowers and family-friendly surroundings. Any entry ticket, boating or optional activity charge is payable directly unless specifically confirmed. Proceed towards the Gun Hill ropeway area. Guests may take the ropeway at their own cost, subject to operation, weather, queue length and maintenance schedules. The viewpoint offers town and valley views when visibility is clear. Later, enjoy a peaceful walk along Camel's Back Road, known for its ridge scenery and colonial-era ambience. Visit the historic Christ Church near Mall Road, subject to opening hours and religious services. Photography restrictions must be respected inside the church. The order of attractions may be adjusted to reduce traffic and parking delays. Return to the hotel by evening for dinner and the second overnight stay in Mussoorie.

    Overnight: Mussoorie

  5. Day 5 — Mussoorie — Dehradun / Haridwar Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey according to the selected drop point. Guests travelling to Dehradun will descend through the hill roads to the airport, railway station, hotel or agreed city location. Those requiring a Haridwar drop will continue through Dehradun and the connecting plains route. Travel times are approximate and may increase because of Mussoorie traffic, weather, road work or weekend congestion. Onward flights and trains should be booked with a sufficient time buffer. Receive the final drop at Dehradun or Haridwar, marking the conclusion of the Garhwal journey through Haridwar, Rishikesh and Mussoorie.
